Crowborough remain bottom of Ryman division one south after paying for missed chances as they went down 3-1 away to Ashford Town.
Luke Piscini gave them a half-time lead but it could have been more as Piscini and Kieron Wilson had further chances.
After Ashford levelled, Piscini and Dan Evans both should have done better before the hosts netted twice in the final 11 minutes.
