Burgess Hill had to settle for a point after being held to a goalless draw today by fellow relegation battlers Corinthian Casuals at Leylands Park.
The Hillians created a host of chances with new signing Gavin Geddes being denied by both the woodwork and goalkeeper Matt Mann in the second half as the visitors' goal led a charmed life.
Striker Wes Tate also made his debut for the Hillians after joining this week.
Burgess Hill remain in the second relegation place, two points behind Chipstead with seven matches remaining.
