Bognor failed to mark the opening of their new clubhouse with victory as they went down 3-0 at home to Tooting and Mitcham in the Ryman premier.
Paul Vines proved the scourge of the Rocks again by scoring twice against them for the second time this season while Simon Parker netted the third.
Assistant boss Jamie Howell said: “It was goalless at half-time and we were doing okay but unfortunately we let them have three sloppy goals.
“It was hard to swallow as I don’t think 3-0 was a true reflection of the game but Tooting have got class finishers if you give them chances they will punish you.
“That’s two poor results in a row now and we will be looking to bring in a few new faces before next weekend. We need to freshen things up and go again.”
