Worthing striker Chamal Fenelon is being monitored by a second Football League side.
Fenelon played for Dagenham and Redbridge reserves this week and they are keen to take him back for another look.
Port Vale have already invited Fenelon back for pre-season training after he impressed in a reserve team win against Derby.
Worthing boss Simon Colbran said: “Fair play to Cham. He has knuckled down and got on with things. Hopefully he will get a pro contract next season.”
Preview of Worthing's game against Met Police tomorrow in The Argus today together with previews from Horsham YMCA and Eastbourne Town
