Danny Bloor believes Eastbourne Town can start climbing the league after signing the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s history.

Town have secured a three-year, five-figure a year deal with Sussex Business Times whose name will be displayed on the front of the club’s shirts with City Gym Express on the backs.

Town finished 18th in Ryman division one south last season, just four points above the relegation zone, and boss Bloor hopes the sponsorship will ensure a bright future for the club.

He said: “We cannot underestimate what this deal means for the club. It is hugely important for community football to gain this kind of support from local businesses."
