Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.
Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

Edgar
Gender - Male
Age - Three to six months old
Breed - American Akita crossbreed
Colour - White

Edgar came into the care of the RSPCA after he and his brother were removed from their previous owner by the police from an unsuitable home.
He is described as a "friendly" and "boisterous" puppy who can be a little shy at first.
Edgar will need complete training, including housetraining and some further socialising.
The RSPCA adds: "As he is going to be a large boy when he’s fully grown we are looking for an experienced home, ideally with another large breed, female dog."
Alan
Gender - Male
Age - Three to six months old
Breed - American Akita crossbreed
Colour - White

Alan is the brother of Edgar so came into the care of the RSPCA through the same circumstances.
He is more confident than his brother but will also need complete training, including housetraining and some further socialising.
The RSPCA adds: "Alan has not had any experience with children so is only suitable to live with older children. He is a fun, bouncy puppy who will need his own garden."
Casper
Gender - Male
Age - Four years old
Breed - Lurcher
Colour - Cream

Casper was originally adopted from the RSPCA branch back in September but needs more training than his new owners are able to provide for him.
He is described as an "affectionate boy with a lot of energy" so will need an active family who is prepared to put time into his training.
The RSPCA adds: "Casper can become quite mouthy when over stimulated so is looking for an experienced owner who understands Lurchers and their quirky ways."
He will need a secure garden to run around in also.

Agnetha and Frida
Gender - Female
Age - Six to 12 months old
Breed - Rex
Colour - Black and Grey

Agnetha and Frida came into the care of the RSPCA after a member of the public found them abandoned in a box.
The RSPCA adds: "We believe Agnetha, the black and white rabbit, is the mother and Frida, the smaller grey rabbit, is probably her baby!"
They are described as an active pair so they will need a large setup that provides them with plenty of space to run around.
Additionally, they could be homed indoors or outdoors.
