A woman lost two teeth after she was pushed to the ground and robbed of her handbag.

The incident took place at about 7pm on Thursday (20) in an alleyway between Seymour Road and Holyrod Place in Broadfield, Crawley.

The 56-year old woman was pushed to the ground by the man who had approached her from behind. She lost two teeth in the impact, and the man, described as white, in his early 20s, and wearing a blue hooded jumper and blue jeans, snatched the bag and ran off.

The bag contained a small amount of cash, a mobile phone, and personal items.
