Perhaps they were trying to use the"wood"to dislodge key left in lock or they were looking in shed for something to steal and found said wood then saw the error of their ways and believed (to stop other halfwits stealing this magnificent specimen of wood) that placing through cat-flap would be the safest place to leave the wood.

This is just shocking. It's thanks to this kind of yobbish behaviour that we're now having to cut down more rainforest to replace the wood that is being wasted through cat-flaps. I hear that some people are also putting actual cats - living creatures - through these flaps... MAKES ME SICK.

Gold old Anna Roberts. She tries so hard and often seems to scrape the bottom of the barrel with her mediocre articles! Here is her next one:-

CRISP PACKET CONUNDRUM

A Brighton resident is appealing for the safe return of a packet of crisps lost in Preston Park today. Sylvia Sutton, 29, left the unopened snack pack on the lawn near the clock tower opposite a residential block of flats known as "Greenacres" at approximately 1.30pm. Upon returning five minutes later they were gone. A sedentary seagull had been sitting on a bench nearby.

And they were in a lime green packet manufactured by Walkers with a barcode on it!

And they cost 42p.

(Insert picture of a crisp packet on a bench in Zimbabwe here.... followed by a line breaker)

The number of food related incidents has seen a marked increase recently. A 22 year old lost the straw from a carton of Ribena near the Pepperpot in Queens Park after it fell down a drain...............
Chris Parker said, "It simply slipped through my fingers and...ping! the straw was gone."

So you can ring the police if someone pushes wood through a catflap?

Ohh, when I had problems with smackhead neighbours two years ago, I rang three times and I'm STILL waiting from them to attend.

I'll know what to say next time though.

smackheads threatening to burn your house down NO!!
Cat can't get through flap due to wooden looking barracade..YES!!
