Pensioner charged with murder of wife
A 79-year-old will appear in court charged with the murder of his wife.
Dudley Boakes will be at Crawley Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning following the death of Sandra Boakes on April 5.
Police were called to the couple’s home in Grasmere Avenue, Sompting, on April 3.
He was initially charged with attempted murder but today the Crown Prosecution Service issued a charge of murder.
