Both chiildren were treated at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, for minor injuries.
The Kent Surrey and Sussex air ambulance were also at the scene.
West Hoathly Road was closed between its junctions with Saint Hill Road and Dunnings Road while emergency services were at the scene.
Sergeant Mark Bond, of the Sussex road policing unit, said: "We thank any motorists whose journeys were delayed or disrupted due to the road closure for their patience.
"With thunderstorms predicted this weekend, and overnight rain having fallen on dry roads, very often making surfaces slippery, we would urge drivers to exercise caution in the current changeable conditions."
