A CHARITY founded by Dame Vera Lynn is appealing for help.
The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy is struggling to transport equipment to charity events due to the lack of space in cars belonging to staff and volunteers.
The charity, based near Billingshurst, has launched an appeal to find an individual or company to donate a small van to solve their transport worries.
Events fundraiser Catherine Bristow said: “It is vital we have our branded equipment at all our events.
“Sorting out logistics and finding a way to get equipment to a venue is really difficult.
“Having a small van would be amazing and the solution to all our problems.”
The award winning charity supports families with babies and children under five-years-old.
It receives no statutory funding and relies entirely on voluntary contributions.
Anyone able to help should email catherine.bristow @dvltrust.org.uk or call 01403 780444.
