Rail boss is made a CBE
A RAILWAY executive has been made a CBE.
Michael Hurn, from Lindfield, was one of many honoured yesterday inside Buckingham Palace.
He is a director of project sponsorship for the High Speed 2 Rail Route – more commonly known as HS2 – at the Department for Transport.
He received the honour from the Duke of Cambridge.
Others awarded included actor Damian Lewis (OBE) and racing driver Dario Franchitti (MBE).
