McFARLANE Minette Passed away peacefully at The Martlets Hospice on 23rd June 2015, aged 53 years. Sadly missed by her mum, dad, brothers, nieces and all her family. Funeral service at St. Andrew's Church, Church Road, Hove, on Monday 13th July at 11.00 am, followed by burial at Lawn Memorial Cemetery. I had the pleasure to meet Minette in my work as a community support worker.. I really enjoyed Thursdays when I spent time with Minette.. I probably liked her more than I was allowed under the auspices of the NHS but Minette said I was good at my job and I did my best to be professional, the closest we got was an ice cream, a cigar or a game of scrabble... it's sad for me that she will never know just how much I admired her.. she wrote some good poetry and I believe still is a beautiful soul.. out there somewhere... a very rare woman indeed.

My dear friend so so sad to hear this. God bless. Just heard Talk Talk ‘It’s my life’ on the radio, she loved that song. This reminded me of her and I have just read this sad news. Condolences to the family and her friends.
