PRESTON Melanie Justine (Mel) Devoted and loving daughter of the late Robert and Diane Preston, sister to Grant and aunt to Jhary. A dear friend taken too soon at 46. Funeral service to take place at Woodvale Crematorium (North Chapel), Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 3QB (alternative entrance via Bear Road) at 1pm on Wednesday 20th December, followed by a reception at The Bow Street Runner pub, 62 Brunswick Street West, Hove, BN3 1EL. All are very welcome. If you wish please wear colour to celebrate Mel's life. Thank you. The world is a darker place without your kindness, compassion, empathy, effervescence, humility, curiosity about life, joie de vivre and your distinctive laugh. You lit up every room you walked into and the lives of everyone who knew you. You are so sorely missed. All you ever aspired to be was a good person. Don't worry, you achieved that thousandfold.
