Roy Pennington, community correspondent
Roy was brought up in Surrey and Sussex. He went to Sussex University in 1967 and has stayed in the area ever since. He has worked in Further Education in Worthing and the voluntary legal advice sector in Brighton. From 1994 to 2007 Roy was elected councillor for Regency Ward.
Roy now helps SASH (Sussex Aphasia Self Help) after having suffered a stroke in 2002. He also runs the website of The Craven Vale Local Action Team/Tenants Association.
