Posted on 10:29am Wednesday 7th April 2010

Looking through a clothing catalogue recently I was amazed at how much larger some dress sizes go. Is it now considered normal for dress sizes to go up to a size 32? If so is that not encouraging people to remain unhealthy?

Oh well - there is always that New Year’s resolution

If like me you’ve been watching TV documentaries on food recently, don’t despair! Basic foods are still okay to eat. Posted on 5:57pm Monday 7th September 2009

Most of us already know how much we weigh and with all the diet programs on television, and dietary advice in magazines we should understand by now what a healthy diet is. The medical profession understand that some prescribed drugs that their patients have to take, can have side effects which will increase their weight. Pain killers for example! But they have to weigh up the benefits of taking such drugs against the side effects.
