Children are being offered a healthy but delicious alternative to ice cream.

Little Bo’s frozen yoghurt van was set up last month and has proved a hit in parks during hot weather.

Founder Jo Hunt has been working hard on the recipes for 18 months and makes all of the mixes herself in her van.

She operates throughout Sussex, regularly appearing at parks throughout the county. Little Bo’s will be at Brighton’s Street Diner food market on Saturday.

Jo said: “It’s a bit healthier than ice cream and we serve it with fruit and nuts.

“Parents really like it. It’s served like a 99 with chocolate buttons, but better quality.

“The response has been really positive. People welcome an alternative.”

All the frozen yoghurts are served from vintage ice cream van Little Bo.

The whole, probiotic, Greek-style yoghurt is made with Sussex milk using completely organic ingredients to ensure nothing unhealthy goes in.

Little Bo’s will also be at Little Monsters Bash at Stanmer Park on August 9 and Whizz Bang Pop in Lewes on July 26.
