STUDENTS and volunteers got their hands dirty as a school received a makeover.
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Brighton was the beneficiary of Business in the Community Day.
Twenty volunteers from Unilever turned up at the school in Davey Drive to help improve the outside area – particularly the pirate ship, wild garden and pond.
A school spokeswoman said: “We are very lucky and excited to have this service allocated to our school.”
Students turned up in clothes ready to work and brought in a £1 donation to help purchase plants.
