A BRAND new food festival is hoping to tickle the tastebuds of Sussex foodies.

Organisers behind Food Rocks Christmas promise great food, drink and boutique gift stalls when the event welcomes guests to Hickstead showground on December 14.

It will be hosted by former MasterChef The Professionals winner Steven Edwards who will create a festive dining experience in the etch pop-up restaurant with business partner and Shoreham Beach based chef Josh Stanzl.

Pre-booking for a three course Christmas feast is vital and is priced at £30 per head including free festival entry.

Fun for all the family is promised at a fairground, pony and trap rides, live music and a visit from Santa Claus.

Simon Teesdale, festival organiser, said: “The festival is a celebration. Expect a wide range of Christmas foodie treats.”
