TWO entrepreneurs have launched courses to teach people how to empty their heads of worry and stress.

Experienced trainers Debbie Stanford and Pete Taylor, pictured right, have set up Original Thought to help businesses to make their workforce happier, healthier and more efficient.

Employees are taught to think differently so they can work and play better be becoming more emotionally resilient. Emotional resilience involves teaching people to think differently – to empty their mind of worries and to see problems as challenges that will make them more confident, proactive and decisive.

It is designed to allow people to bounce back from adversity and hardship, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before.

Debbie said: “We spend our entire lives limited by ourselves – and we don’t even realise it. We let stress and work pressures consume us yet we have the power to change things ourselves.

“Emotional resilience isn’t a coping strategy, it’s about prevention. Resilience can help you excel in all areas of life – friends, relationships, family and business. Once people take it on board they realise they have made themselves stressed for no good reason.”
