A great Gatsby-themed fundraising dance-off will be judged by Zoe Ball again this year.

Business figures such as i360 chief executive Eleanor Harris and Cardens Accountants managing director Barry Carden will compete at Mid Summer Ball.

The Hilton Brighton Metropole’s Mid Summer Ball will return on Saturday, June 20, in aid of Hilton in the Community Foundation and Rockinghorse Children’s Charity. Competitors in the Charleston 1920s inspired Strictly Come Dancing-type event were announced at a launch party on Thursday night.

Heart Sussex Breakfast Show co-hosts Nicola Hume and Tom Evans will also compete in front of TV star Zoe Ball, from Hove.

Simon Sheehan, director of Hilton in the Community Foundation, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Rockinghorse Children’s Charity again, and together we will be transforming lives.

“Thanks to our intrepid dancers and generous sponsors, the Mid Summer Ball will be a spectacular evening of 1920s frivolity while supporting the work of two charities who help the young people of Sussex.”
