A CHARITY Mid Summer Ball will return later this month with 1920s twist.

Guests at the Hilton Brighton Metropole’s Mid Summer Ball will be entertained in the Great Gatsby themed Oxford Suite at the four star hotel on Brighton seafront.

Famed for its ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ style dance competition, the Mid Summer Ball welcomes the return of Hove-based TV and radio personality, Zoe Ball, who will take on the role as head judge.

Four local personalities will attempt The Charleston - Eleanor Harris, chief executive of the Brighton i360, Barry Carden, managing director of Cardens Accountants and Heart Sussex Breakfast Show co-hosts Nicola Hume and Tom Evans.

Each dancer has been targeted to raise £1,000 which will be split beyween DM Thomas Foundation for Young People, which helps disadvantaged and vulnerable young people, and Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.
