COMMERCE gurus put their heads together to judge the Brighton and Hove Business Awards.

Business leaders and directors gathered at Robinson Low Francis in Queen’s Road, Brighton, to chew over the nominations. The judging was chaired by Argus editor Mike Gilson alongside awards organiser Caraline Brown.

The panel included: Mike Wilkins, Allied Irish Bank; Claire Walsh, Aspect 8; Stephen Cheesman, Robinson Low Francis; Simon Brooks, Boxharry; Carol Lewis, Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce; Soozie Campbell, Brighton and Hove Tourism Alliance; Barry Carden, Cardens Accountants; Paula Pearson, Classic Consulting; Robert Paine, Graves Jenkins; Rachel Regan, Juice 107.2FM; Fiona Martin, Martin Searle Solicitors; Samantha Harrington Lowe, Title Sussex and Andy Parsons, Yelo Architects.

Representatives from City Cabs and Brilliant Brighton submitted their comments in advance.

The results will be announced next week.
