Coldean residents, there’s lots happening in New Larchwood this September!

Come down to the allotments on Coldean Lane for the Community Allotment Harvest Open Day this Friday - 16th September from 11am onwards. Children are very welcome. In fact it’s perfect for families.

Community Development Worker Steve Andrews said, “You’ll get lots of close contact with the soil in a child-friendly environment learning about where food comes from and enjoy a free barbeque.”

Then from a week later you can get free lessons how to cook your produce!

There’s a Basic Cooking Demonstration 3pm on Saturday 24th Sept at New Larchwood Community Café, followed by 7 Tuesday evenings 4.30-6.30 in the Lounge at New Larchwood as part of the Affordable Suppers Club.
