More funding is needed before plans to replant areas of the scented garden in the park can go ahead. The Friends of St Anne’s Well Garden, which was set up last year on the garden’s centenary, are driving the campaign to raise money for the renovations and are hoping to raise £10,000 from the Big Lottery, the Co-operative Community Fund and other sources.
