2 hours 10 minutes journey from Brighton to Eastbourne this morning - 10.20am-12.30pm due to the wide load (bridge?). It got stuck at Drusilla's roundabout & Polegate (see pic). Was it an incompetent driver? Had no recce been done? Policeman I spoke to said they'd been informed last minute about it. Highways Agency to blame? Hottest Sunday of year so far ruined for so many.
