If you happen to come down to Woodingdean this saturday (the 24th) don't be surprised if you get the feeling you're stepping back in time.
The Church of the Holy Cross in Warren Rd is holding a Christmas Fayre with a Dickensonian theme. There will be all kinds of stalls, folk dressed as Dickens characters and a, somewhat early, Father Christmas. There will also be resfreshments on sale.
The event starts at 11am and goes on until 3pm.
