JULIE Frith has been inaugurated as the new president of the Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association (BHEAA) for 2015, and regards it as one of the highlights of her 25 year career in property.

She said: “I have some wonderful predecessors to follow, and it will be an honour to follow in their footsteps.”

The association was formed in 1886, and membership is seen as setting a benchmark for good standards in customer service, business practice and professional credibility.

Julie is managing partner of Mishon Mackay New Homes, a brand based upon customer service so Julie is well placed to publicise the standards of the BHEAA. One of her first duties was to organise the annual dinner for the association, the highlight of the city’s property calendar.

She said: “I take this extremely seriously. The property industry in Brighton and Hove is one of the most exciting in the country, and employs exceptional people, no matter what area their expertise.

“Naturally we have a healthy rivalry and competitive spirit which drives us and, like any industry which employs passionate people, we are proud to have that rivalry.

“However, the association’s annual dinner is a party night to celebrate our industry, a night when we put our rivalries aside – just for one night of course – and enjoy each other’s company, swap tales and forge new friendships.”
