New property website OnTheMarket. com has calculated how much homebuyers across the UK can expect to pay for a section of real estate which equates to the same size as the latest iPad Air.

Measuring 9.4in x 6.67in, the iPad Air is under a square foot -– the standard measurement for property – but one which many people admit they struggle to visualise.

Naturally it’s Mayfair that heads the list. Here the average price of an apartment will set you back £5.75million and an iPad size space will cost £1,430.

Not far away in trendy Lewisham a two double-bedroom split level penthouse apartment forming part of a newly converted Victorian detached building, is currently for sale for £595,000, giving a iPad space value of £269.

In Brighton a centrally located two-bedroom apartment in a newly converted 1930’s building is selling for £495,000 through Brand Vaughan. So the price of an iPad space is £245.

Head west and Bristol has a much cheaper iPad rate of a mere £183 in a two-bedroom flat by the waterfront. The property has two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge space and comes to the market for £350,000.

Here a two-bedroom apartment presented over an impressive two-level layout, with games room, garden and private parking, is new to the market for £249,950, and to house your iPad it will set you back £133.

Over the border and the cost of an iPad size space in central Glasgow is £122. A two-bedroom first floor apartment with en suite master bedroom has a price tag of £350,000 The analysis provides a snapshot of what it costs to place an iPad down inside a two-bedroom apartment in some of the UK’s favourite places to live.
