Congress Theatre audiences have a real treat this week as Dance ‘Til Dawn provides fabulous footwork by Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace - and so much more.

Alongside the Strictly Come Dancing duo’s magical moves, Ed Curtis’s murder-mystery story - in which a 1940s Hollywood star gets his comeuppance - is sprinkled throughout with great vocals and cheesy humour.

But Flavia and Vincent are not upstaged as they enthral the audience with their flawless rumba, samba, foxtrot and paso doble before bringing the house down with a sexually-charged Argentine tango.

This is an excellent progression following their first stage show Midnight Tango and they are backed with a marvellous supporting cast.

Teddy Kempner delivers some amusing one-liners as the narrator and a private eye, while Abbie Osmon vamps it up in Marilyn Monroe style as a seductive nightclub harlot.

Abbie’s rendition of I’m A Woman and crooner Oliver Darley’s Moon River are outstanding.

But the show revolves around Cacace and Simone, who rely solely on their dancing despite getting involved in a murder investigation.

Directed by Karen Bruce, who co-choreographed with Simone and Cacace, the show is a clever blend of dance, song and comedy.
