Taking the stage late into night at Komedia Studio in front of a boozy crowd might be an intimidating experience for some, but electro-pop starlet Georgia took it in her stride.

With only her voice and production unit to quell a baying crowd she managed it.

It was not always encapsulating, between the more recognisable tracks her set lacked a bit of punch, but she more than held her own.

Given her background playing for others such as Kate Tempest and Kwes it was not a surprise she was comfortable onstage, but to do so on your own is a different proposition.

Working through percussion-focused tracks, mostly from her Come In EP, her voice was good, even if at times it struggled to cut through the size of her beats.

Occupying the same sort of space as Real Lies and Ghost Culture in the ethereal production category it was perhaps little surprise her most vocal support from the younger spectrum of the crowd.

It was certainly they who took most pleasure in standout tracks When I’m Gone and the rhythmic Move Systems.

Georgia might have to do some to move from bloggers’ delight to widespread recognition, but she certainly has the chutzpah to try.
