"We do love a big opening," declares Veronica Blacklace, the compere with the mostest.

Sasha Flexy's aerial performance, her hair bouncing like flames, is indeed a dramatic start.

A cocktail of circus, cabaret, burlesque and vaudeville, Blacklace is the force behind this show.

Initially her lack of material on Wednesday was ominous as the crowd needed warming up. But such is the quality of the acts that no permanent damage was done.

Chi Chi Revolver is a hoola-hooping dervish, whirling and lovable.

Cabaret Rouge provides two Parisian/Vegas dancers who add a touch of class throughout the evening and are bound to get the cameras clicking.

Esquire De Lune has something for the ladies with his boylesque strut and humour.

Blacklace keeps the pot simmering, toying with the audience. Seven women she has personally trained give a stunning performance and are the cherry on the cake.

Blacklace's vocals are impressive and the duets with Chris Hilde work nicely, though the man needs a better suit!

The balance of the evening is spot-on and if a crack appears the compere papers it with style.

Flexy, after a big opening, returns with an equally impressive big end.
