Damn Dirty Humans

From: Brighton

Influences: Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Goldfrapp, Red Snapper and UNKLE.

Profile: Damn Dirty Humans formed from the ashes of Brighton bands Nimbus and The Lounge Collective when vocalist Kimberley Berry joined keyboard player Ian Wooldridge, bassist Warren Woods and drummer Brendan Streeter in autumn 2006. The four-piece's stated aim is to create progressive pop that pushes musical boundaries, describing their sound as "a dirty fusion of powerful melodies, catchy bass hooks and penetrating drum beats all mixed up with a cheeky hint of femininity and pure, filthy, unadulterated aural pleasures."

The band started working with producer Paul Mex in May 2008 on their debut album.
