MADCHESTER legends The Happy Mondays are set to headline a new bank holiday festival in Horsham.
Shaun Ryder’s reformed indie-dance posse will be joined by Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, The Dub Pistols, English Disco Lovers, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Norman Jay, X-Press 2, Utah Saints, Rhythm Masters and Brighton’s own Carnival Collective in a party-heavy line-up.
The family-friendly festival will feature nine themed areas in the forest, as well as camping, children’s activities, a silent disco, themed Frozen cinema, craft ale, rum and vodka bars, workshops and more.
The main stage will be set in a forest clearing, with DJs and dance acts playing at Bravo Zulu, a specially created abandoned military base in the woods.
There will be interactive entertainment in the Chief Kahuna Village, while youngsters will be able to go to the secure and alcohol-free Little Kahuna area or play in Alice’s Garden.
