Mr Hudson is like a posh version of The Streets (The Boulevards if you will), riffing on songs from My Fair Lady and rapping/singing about sipping brandy as a viable way to keep warm in winter. At times, the Oxford-educated music-maker comes across like a Guy Ritchie-style posho trying to be a mockney, which goes some way to diminishing the effectiveness of his tunes, but there's enough good stuff to outweigh the pretentious material, making this gig a justifiable excursion. With support from Wally and Malakai.
