The Gutter Twins, Komedia, Gardner Street, Brighton, Aug 26
They call themselves The Satanic Everly Brothers. Both former frontmen of seminal 1990s American bands - Greg Dulli of the Afghan Whigs and Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees - they started recording together at the end of 2002.
After respective guest appearances on Mark's 2004 solo album Bubblegum and Greg's new band The Twilight Singers' 2003 Blackberry Belle album, The Gutter Twins made their first public appearance on stage in Rome in September 2005. Now, three years on, the pair have released their first record, Saturnalia.
