A chance to see the hotly-tipped The XX in an exclusive instore show on the week they release their debut self-titled album.
Springing from the same South London school as Four Tet, Burial and Hot Chip, the four-piece were named by former NME editor Conor McNicholas as a band to watch in 2009. Generally known for their timidity and their atmospheric, sparsely arranged Cocteau Twins- meets-Mazzy Star sound, the band’s debut was self-produced in indie label XL Recordings’ new studio.
They were last in Brighton during May’s The Great Escape Festival, and will be touring the country with Florence And The Machine later this year.
