One of modern folk’s most influential pioneers, Ashley Hutchings was a founder member of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band.
Now he is bringing his latest project Rainbow Chasers to the intimate setting of The Greys for a one-off performance.
The band features Joe Topping on guitar and vocals, Jo Hamilton on viola, guitar and vocals and Ruth Angell on fiddle, guitar and vocals, performing a repertoire of self-penned songs featuring shared lead vocals.
Rainbow Chasers currently have two albums to their name, 2005’s Some Colours Fly, and the following year’s Fortune Never Sleeps. The band is now working on new material which will be recorded live for a best-of compilation.
* Starts 8.30pm, tickets £13. Call 01273 680734.
