Fish out the fishnet tights and strap on the leather basque - that's right, the camp cult horror comedy returns to the city next week.

Richard O'Brien's rock 'n' roll musical stars David Bedella, pictured, as the mad scientist Frank N Furter who changes the lives of squeakyclean Brad and Janet for ever.

All the classic songs and routines are here, from Sweet Transvestite to Hot Patootie and of course The Time Warp.

And look out for special guest narrator Steve Pemberton from The League of Gentlemen.

Brighton holds a special place in Steve's heart as the city that hosted the League's first official show in 1995.

Having performed the narrator's role twice on the West End, Steve was looking forward to returning to the role.

He said: "I have got plenty of putdowns planned - whatever is shouted at me I can deal with from the experience of The League of Gentlemen live shows.

"It's nice for a non-singer like me to be able to appear in a musical like this.

"The fans could give the League's fans a run for their money - they know every single line."
