Floods causing traffic chaos

Flooding is causing chaos on major roads across Sussex this morning.

Standing water has forced the closure of the A24 Findon bypass and the A29 at Fontwell.

Long delays are also being reported on the A27 at Polegate and the A29 at Slindon and Lidsey.

One driver on the A27 at Polegate said a “massive lake” had formed on the road.

What is the point of including a news item about a travel problem in the Alfriston area, referring to the Argus travel page, to find no mention!!

Err..yeah. The M23 starts about 10 miles up the road near Crawley. What you were on is the A23. And, Hurstpierpoint is one word.

Maybe someone will give you something to boost your IQ this Christmas.

Why is disrupted traffic always chaos?
That word gives a mental impression of everyone running about in a state of panic; something hard to do when you are stuck in a traffic jam.

And before you bang on about me writing 'sop' instead of 'so', a pure typo is nothing compared to your absolutely disgusting way of beginning your comment with 'Err...yeah.' 'Er', if there were such a word, should have one 'r'. 'Err', of course, meaning something entirely different - and quite an ironic meaning at that!
