A 28-YEAR-OLD man is accused of slashing a man's face with a Stanley knife.
James McDonald appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court today (January 3) charged with possessing a knife in a public place and assault causing actual bodily harm.
A man needed hospital treatment after he was found with face wounds near the Amsterdam Hotel in Broad Street on September 15.
McDonald was granted unconditional bail until he returns to court on February 28, for the case to be committed to Lewes Crown Court.
