Shoreham resident wakes up to find two burglars in his home

A resident woke up in the middle of the night to find two burglars in his house.
Two young men had broken into a house in Cross Street in Shoreham at about 3am this morning but left the scene empty handed after waking up the occupant of the home.
Officers scoured the area but were unable to find the suspects.
Scenes of crime officers will now investigate the home for clues, anyone with information should contact Sussex Police on 101.
