A teenage model has denied stealing cat food from a doorstep.
Korrel Kennedy, 19, was arrested on Saturday evening on suspicion of stealing a package of cat food from outside a home in Clifton Hill, Brighton.
Kennedy, of Marine Parade, Brighton, denied the theft at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday. He was granted bail by the court until a hearing on March 18.
A 20-year-old man, Alex Evans, of Ashmore Close, Peacehaven, who was arrested at the same time, also appeared in court accused of stealing electrical items and jewellery worth £14,000 in a burglary at a house in Roedean Crescent, Brighton.
He was remanded in custody until a hearing at the same court on January 28.
