94-year-old fighting for his life after A23 crash

A 94-year-old is fighting for his life after crashing while exiting the A23.

The man, who was driving a green Toyota, came off the A281 slip road near Pyecombe at 4.45pm today (January 23).

Emergency services were on the scene shortly after and he was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting serial 1026/23/1/2013.
