The No. 2/2A will be diverted all day (7am - 7pm) on Thursday March 21st due to road works. The bus will turn up Dawson Terrace from Sutherland Road and go right up Freshfield Road till it re-joins the normal route at the roundabout at the top of Queensway. The return journey will be the same.
Early version of the Roadwork Disruptions notices indicated that the bus would not go up Sutherland Road at all. Representations were made to the bus company by the local Craven Vale Association and others that as the resurfacing works were only on Queensway itself, it was not necessary to close the whole of Sutherland Road.
There is one bus-stop in Dawson Terrace, servicing the No. 21B south-east bound on a Sunday evening hourly from 7.30pm - 11.30pm only.
