A baby has been born in a pub car park.
The baby girl was born in the car park of the Rose and Crown in London Road, Cuckfield, at about noon today.
Landlady Nikki Kemp said the expectant mother was on route to the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath, when she went into labour and was forced to give birth to her girl in the back of the car in the car park.
The landlady said the mother, who had given birth to her third child, said her latest child would have Rose somewhere in her name.
