A man's body was found on the beach.
Police were called to the beach at the pumping station near Telescombe Cliffs, at 1.40pm on Thursday.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said the man’s death was not believed to be suspicious and the coroner had been informed.
The man is believed to be aged in his 50s or 60s.
