Two people have been charged following a robbery in Bexhill.
The knifepoint robbery took place in Best One shop, Cowdray Park Road, on Tuesday at 2.35pm.
Nicholas Smith, 43 of Sackville Road, Bexhill and Jane Hennessy, 44 of Putland Crescent, Bexhill have both been charged with robbery.
Smith has been further charged with driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of a knife or a sharp article in a public place. They are due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on July 26.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been released on bail until June 4 while investigations continue.
