I would like to bring to other readers’ attention that the bins in my area are a disaster.
Valley Road seems to have been having rubbish picked up as normal, as has Mile Oak Road, both of which are on bus routes.
But mine had not been collected for more than three weeks.
My wife emailed Jason Kitcat but got sent a cheap “check our website” reply.
In the end we couldn’t wait any longer and took it all to the tip.
I wonder if the binmen have been instructed to only empty main roads? I really feel for them as they potentially face a massive drop in wages. Instead of wasting £1 million on 20mph speed limit signs or hundreds of thousands on cycle lanes, the council could have sustained their wages for years to come.
How long does this have to go on? My neighbours have seen rats in their garden.
I’m sorry but the Green Party has become a disaster.
