Firefighters were called last night (June 13) after a group of young adults started a fire on private property.
The pals, who had travelled from Brighton to enjoy an evening in the South Downs, started the fire on Glynde Hill near Lewes.
A member of the public called both the fire service and police and the blaze was put out on arrival.
There were no injuries and the group was asked to move on.
